My client is a leading and growing Financial Services Firm and we are recruiting for a Regulatory Compliance professional. You will be given the opportunity to support the compliance team and work closely with stakeholders in the market.
Responsibilities for this Regulatory Compliance - Financial Services
- Provide compliance advisory, including gap analyses and assessments of regulatory updates or local news.
- Ensure the Branch complies with Singapore banking laws, especially those relating to the Wholesale Banking Licence, Recognized Clearing House requirements, and the PDPA.
- Ensure timely submission of annual declarations by all MAS-licensed representatives.
- Maintain and update the Company's risk assessment framework (e.g., Legal Inventory).
- Work with Compliance teams at HQ and regional offices on BAU matters, including alignment efforts.
- Support ad-hoc Compliance-related initiatives.
Requirements for this Regulatory Compliance - Financial Services
- 7-10 years of experience in Compliance; University degree required.
- Strong knowledge of Singapore banking regulations and compliance standards.
- Solid understanding of AML/CFT and KYC requirements
- Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills, with the ability to document decisions clearly and explain complex topics simply.
