Real Estate Attorney
Locations: Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, or NYC
Salary: $155,000-$175,000
Our client, an Am Law 200 platform, is seeking junior- to mid-level associates to join their established Real Estate Practice Group. This opportunity provides the chance to work with clients across the globe and to collaborate with individuals, public and private companies, government entities, and nonprofits.
This real estate group is comprised of 30+ team members, including partners, associates, and paralegals. The team focuses on commercial real estate transactions, land use and development, energy, leasing, and related matters.
What They Are Looking For:
- Associates with 2-6 years of experience
- A broad range of exposure to commercial real estate transactions, including multifamily, shopping centers, office buildings, energy assets, and other property types
- Experience with sales, acquisitions, financing, and leasing is a plus
- Familiarity with real estate documentation and deal processes
- Strong drafting and reviewing skills, with the ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines in a fast‑paced environment
- Ability to manage and coordinate title, survey, zoning, and environmental review
- Experience assisting with closing and post‑closing matters
- Willingness to participate in client meetings and contribute to business development efforts
