A highly successful and nationally recognized plaintiff-side employment law firm is seeking a Pre-Litigation Employment Attorney to join its growing team. Key Responsibilities
- Manage a high-volume caseload of employment matters through the pre-litigation phase
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients throughout case development and resolution
- Conduct case evaluations, assess liability and damages, and develop resolution strategies
- Draft demand packages and other pre-litigation submissions
- Negotiate settlements and participate in mediations
- Prepare matters for litigation when necessary and coordinate case transitions
- Handle a limited number of litigation matters as assigned
Qualifications
- Active California Bar license
- 1-5 years of legal experience, preferably in employment law
- Strong client management, communication, and relationship-building skills
- Excellent writing, negotiation, and issue-spotting abilities
- Ability to effectively manage a substantial caseload in a fast-paced environment
- Business-minded approach to case evaluation and settlement strategy
- Litigation experience is a plus but not required
