About the Role

Our client is seeking a highly skilled and motivated attorney with 4-8 years of experience in construction litigation to join a dynamic and collegial team. This role is ideal for candidates who have honed their skills in big law and are now looking for a position that offers greater autonomy, leadership opportunities, and a clear path for professional growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Case Management: Take ownership of complex litigation matters, including managing discovery, drafting pleadings, and preparing for trial.
  • Client Interaction: Engage directly with clients, providing strategic counsel and updates throughout the litigation process.
  • Courtroom Experience: Serve as first or second chair in hearings, depositions, and trials.
  • Legal Research & Writing: Draft high-quality legal memoranda, motions, and briefs. A strong passion for writing and research is essential.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with partners and associates in a supportive, team-oriented environment.

Qualifications

  • Education: Excellent academic credentials, ideally from a T-14 law school or graduating near the top of your class.
  • Experience:
    • 4-8 years of litigation experience, preferably in a large law firm setting.
    • Demonstrated expertise in construction-related disputes or a strong interest in developing this specialty.
    • Proven track record in handling complex litigation matters.
  • Skills:
    • Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities.
    • Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines effectively
