Labor & Employment Attorney
A well-established client is seeking a mid-level Labor & Employment Litigation Attorney to join its California team. The ideal candidate will be based in San Diego, Los Angeles, or San Francisco. This role is best suited for a legal professional with a minimum of 3-6 years of hands-on experience handling PAGA claims and wage & hour matters under California law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in single-plaintiff employment litigation, including cases involving: Workplace discrimination, Harassment, Retaliation, Wrongful termination lawsuits
- Handle class action and PAGA claims.
- Draft pleadings, discovery requests/responses, and motions; argue motions in court.
- Take and defend depositions; conduct administrative hearings (preferred).
- Provide day-to-day advice and counsel to employers on workplace issues.
- Draft workplace policies and conduct employee training sessions.
Requirements:
- Active California Bar license in good standing.
- Ability to work in a hybrid schedule: 3 days in-office, 2 days remote.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong ability to work independently while thriving in a collaborative team environment.
