We are seeking a Labor & Employment Associate to join a dynamic and growing team supporting employer-side matters across California. This opportunity offers flexibility (remote or hybrid) across multiple California offices, along with direct exposure to high-profile clients and complex workplace issues.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage employment litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Handle all phases of litigation, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, and motion practice
- Advise clients on day-to-day employment issues, including compliance, workplace policies, and risk mitigation
- Represent employers in administrative proceedings (e.g., DFEH/EEOC)
- Partner with clients to develop strategic, business-oriented solutions
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active admission to the California Bar
- 3+ years of experience in labor & employment law (litigation and/or counseling)
- Strong writing, analytical, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced, client-facing environment
- Experience advising employers on California-specific employment laws is strongly preferred
