Finance Attorney
A leading client is seeking an experienced Finance Attorney to join its team in their Atlanta office. This is a growth hire need, at a place with opportunities for advancement and collaborative culture. The position involves working on sophisticated matters, such as advising on structured finance, commercial lending, capital markets, and corporate transactions. This will sit hybrid in Atlanta.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, negotiate, and review a wide range of financial agreements, including:
- Commercial loan agreements (secured and unsecured)
- Credit facilities, term loans, and revolving lines of credit
- Syndicated lending and agency arrangements
- Capital markets instruments (notes, offerings, private placements)
- Derivatives, hedging agreements, and ISDA documentation
- Structured finance and asset‑backed transactions
- Provide legal support for mergers, acquisitions, joint ventures, and other corporate finance transactions
- Oversee transaction lifecycle from initial structuring to closing, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
- Banking regulations
- UCC Article 9 and secured transactions
- Georgia and federal lending laws
Qualifications:
- Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in finance, banking, corporate, or transactional law
- Demonstrated experience with financial transactions across varying levels of complexity
- Previous law firm experience
- Education: Juris Doctor from an accredited law school
- Admissions: Georgia or ability to waive in
- Skills: Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment
