Employment Associate | Elite Platform + Sophisticated Litigation

Employment Litigation Associate (4-7 Years) 📍 San Francisco, CA

Compensation: $320,000-$410,000

Some employment roles offer great work. Others offer great training. Very few offer both.

A nationally recognized AmLaw firm is seeking a mid-level Employment Associate to join its San Francisco office for a hybrid opportunity. This is an opportunity to work on sophisticated employment matters for prominent employers while building a broad practice that combines litigation, counseling, and strategic workplace advice.

Attorneys in this group handle a mix of:

* Employment litigation in state and federal courts
* Wage & hour and class action matters
* Trade secret and restrictive covenant disputes
* Day-to-day employment counseling and risk management
* High-stakes workplace investigations and sensitive personnel matters

This team is known for giving associates meaningful responsibility, direct client interaction, and mentorship from highly regarded practitioners. The environment is collaborative, entrepreneurial, and designed for attorneys who want to continue developing into trusted advisors rather than remain narrowly focused litigators.

Ideal Background

* 4-7 years of employment law experience
* Experience with employment litigation and/or counseling
* Strong research, writing, and advocacy skills
* California bar admission required

Why This Role Stands Out

* Premier employment practice with nationally recognized lawyers
* Sophisticated employer-side matters across industries
* Strong culture of mentorship and professional development
* Competitive BigLaw compensation and benefits
* Genuine investment in long-term attorney growth and career progression
