Commercial Real Estate Associate/Counsel
Currently partnered with a leading firm seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Real Estate Associate or Counsel with 4 to 8 years of experience to join their dynamic and growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, leasing, financing, and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in the acquisition, disposition, and financing of commercial real estate assets.
- Draft and negotiate purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases, loan documents, and joint venture agreements.
- Conduct due diligence, including title and survey review, zoning analysis, and environmental assessments.
- Collaborate with clients, opposing counsel, and internal teams to manage complex transactions from inception to closing.
- Provide strategic legal advice to developers, investors, lenders, and corporate clients.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school and active membership in good standing with a state bar (preferably California).
- 4-8 years of relevant experience in commercial real estate law at a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- A team-oriented mindset with a commitment to client service and professional excellence.
