A national AM Law 100 firm is seeking a Commercial Litigation Senior Associate or Senior Counsel to join its Los Angeles or Oakland office. This is a high‑impact role for an experienced litigator looking to handle sophisticated disputes within the firm's Technology, Manufacturing & Transportation business unit. The firm is recognized for its collaborative culture, national platform, and strong client relationships.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct factual investigations and manage all phases of complex commercial litigation, including discovery, depositions, pleadings, motion practice, and settlement negotiations.
- Handle administrative matters and arbitrations as needed.
- Serve as the firm's courtroom representative for hearings, conferences, and procedural matters in state and federal courts.
- Prepare and execute litigation strategy while maintaining direct communication with clients.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with excellent academic credentials.
- Active California Bar admission and prior experience appearing before CA state and federal courts.
- 6+ years (Senior Associate) or 10+ years (Senior Counsel) of commercial litigation experience.
- Experience handling large‑scale discovery, depositions, and motions.
- Superior judgment, communication skills, and ability to manage multiple matters under pressure.
- Familiarity with automotive litigation is a plus, but not required.
