The Opportunity
My client is seeking a talented Commercial Litigation Associate to join their dynamic litigation team in New York City. This is a rare opportunity to develop a deep litigation practice at a firm where real estate is not just a practice group - it's the firm's entire identity. Responsibilities:
Associates in this role can expect to handle commercial litigation matters with a heavy emphasis on real estate disputes, including landlord-tenant litigation, lease disputes, foreclosure proceedings, title disputes, construction litigation, and general commercial matters. You will draft pleadings, motions, and briefs, conduct legal research, manage discovery, and appear in court.
Qualifications:
My client is seeking candidates with 5+ years of litigation experience, ideally with exposure to real estate or commercial disputes. Strong academic credentials, excellent writing skills, and New York bar admission are required. Candidates who are comfortable in a fast-paced, collaborative boutique environment will thrive here.
