Commercial Contracts Senior Counsel (Business Law)

An Am Law 200 firm is seeking a talented mid- to senior-level attorney (Associate or Senior Counsel) to join its Business Law team. This position offers exceptional flexibility, including fully remote work, customizable schedules, and options for full-time or part-time employment.

The successful candidate will focus on business and commercial law, with a strong emphasis on commercial contracts. Responsibilities include reviewing, drafting, revising, and negotiating sophisticated agreements such as supply agreements, vendor contracts, and other complex commercial documents. This role requires excellent attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to manage intricate commercial matters efficiently while collaborating with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of commercial agreements, including supply and vendor contracts.
  • Provide strategic legal advice on business transactions and commercial matters.
  • Collaborate with attorneys and business professionals across multiple markets to ensure compliance and mitigate risk.
  • Manage complex contract negotiations with precision and efficiency.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in business law and commercial contract review.
  • Proven ability to draft, review, revise, and negotiate complex commercial agreements.
  • Strong academic credentials and excellent organizational, drafting, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and communicate effectively in a remote environment.
  • Prior in-house counsel experience is a plus, but not required.

Location: Fully Remote (with optional access to offices in Indianapolis, Madison, Milwaukee, Minneapolis, Naples, Phoenix, St. Louis, Tampa, and Tucson)
