Associate/Senior Associate - Real Estate (2-5 years) (m/w/d)
Rechtsanwalt (m/w/d) Immobilienrecht | München | Vollzeit
Munich | Full-time | Real Estate Law
Are you looking for a role where you can take real ownership from day one, work to clearly defined hours, and build a genuine long-term career within an international practice? This could be the move for you.
I'm working with a leading international law firm in Munich, currently expanding its Real Estate practice group. They're looking for a Real Estate Associate to join a well-established, collegial team advising national and international corporates and investors across the full lifecycle of commercial real estate.
What makes this role stand out:
Autonomy from day one Following a structured but efficient onboarding, you'll take independent responsibility for commercial lease matters, reviewing, assessing, drafting, and negotiating agreements, while also supporting property transactions and broader real estate mandates. This isn't a role where you'll be sitting on the bench for months; you'll be trusted to run with matters early on.
Genuine work-life balance The team operates with clear, defined working hours and a real commitment to sustainable working practices, supported by flexible and mobile working arrangements. This is a firm that backs up "work-life balance" with practical structure, not just words.
Strong progression opportunities You'll join a multi-tiered team structure built around collaborative development and mentorship, with a clear and supported path for career progression. Ongoing professional development is backed by an in-house learning academy, so growth isn't left to chance.
High-quality, varied work Advise on lease agreements with a focus on special-use assets including logistics, industrial, hotel and office real estate, alongside transactional and property-related matters for multinational clients and investors.
A genuinely team-first culture Join a practice group that prioritises collaboration and mutual development, where client relationships are built on trust and continuity.
What we're looking for:
- Two above-average German State Examinations (Staatsexamina); international study experience is a plus
- Initial relevant experience in real estate law, ideally with independent handling of commercial lease agreements
- Fluent German and very good English, with strong, confident communication skills
- Commercial awareness and a creative, solutions-driven approach
- A collaborative mindset and genuine interest in being part of a supportive team
What's on offer:
- Flexible, mobile working arrangements supporting real work-life integration
- A structured, clearly defined path for career progression
- Comprehensive professional development through an in-house academy
- Public transport subsidy for your commute
- Corporate benefits, bike leasing, and access to sports/wellness programmes
- Family support services (parental leave, childcare, elder care advice)
- An active, engaged firm culture with networking events and social/sports events
