My client is seeking a Senior Transportation Litigation Attorney to join their growing NYC office. What You'll Do
- Manage a diverse transportation litigation caseload from inception to resolution
- Handle depositions, hearings, mediations, and trial work
- Draft pleadings, dispositive motions, briefs, and client‑facing reports
- Conduct in‑depth research on transportation laws, regulations, and emerging risk areas
- Partner with in-house and external stakeholders to drive litigation strategy
- Contribute to a national team supporting major technology-forward transportation companies
- Identify proactive case‑resolution opportunities and communicate recommendations with clarity
What You Bring
- JD from an ABA‑accredited law school
- Texas bar admission
- 5+ years of general casualty litigation experience
- First or second‑chair trial experience required
- Strong deposition, motion practice, and courtroom skills
- Experience with trucking, logistics, transportation, or related regulatory frameworks preferred
- Interest or experience in e‑commerce, gig‑economy, or emerging mobility legal issues (preferred, not required)
- Strong analytical abilities, persuasive writing, and clear communication skills
- Comfort working with sophisticated clients in a fast‑moving sector
