Trade Surveillance Compliance Associate (Remote - EST Hours)
We're hiring a Trade Surveillance Compliance Associate to help monitor trading activity and ensure we follow all relevant rules and regulations. This is a fully remote role, but you'll need to work New York (Eastern) time zone hours. The position offers a monthly salary of up to $8,000 USD.
What You'll Do
- Watch trading activity to spot any unusual or suspicious behavior.
- Review alerts and report any concerns to senior compliance staff.
- Track trading positions to make sure we stay within legal and exchange limits.
- Work with internal teams and exchanges to fix any issues.
- Test our compliance processes to make sure they're working properly.
- Help update policies and train staff on new rules.
- Support audits and regulatory requests by preparing reports and documents.
What You'll Need
- A degree in Finance, Economics, Law, or a related field.
- At least 3 years of experience in a compliance or trade surveillance role.
- Good knowledge of U.S. and global trading rules (CFTC, SEC, FINRA, NFA, etc.).
- Experience using tools like SMARTS, Actimize, or Eventus.
- Familiarity with position limits and exchange rules in global markets.
