Senior Regulatory Counsel
A top healthcare product distributor is looking to bring on Regulatory Counsel to their Legal team. This organization is considered a leader in the EMS space and partners closely with first responders and physicians to efficiently deliver high-end healthcare products and services.
This is a high visibility role reporting to the General Counsel and managing a team of attorneys. As Regulatory Counsel, you will be responsible for advising on healthcare regulatory compliance, FDA, and DEA compliance, and pharmacy licensing matters.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on Stark Law, Antikickback Statute, Fraud and Abuse, FDA and DEA regulatory matters, and other state and federal regulations relevant to the organization.
- Manage audits and investigations from government enforcement.
- Oversee the state board of pharmacy licensing process and ensure regulatory compliance.
- Provide counsel on the entire VAWD process.
- Manage product recall and compliant processes.
Qualifications:
- JD from an ABA accredited law school.
- 5+ years of experience with Regulatory matters specifically in the Healthcare industry.
- Prior leadership experience and the ability to collaborate with other operations teams within the business.
- Ability to work on a hybrid schedule out of the Colombus, OH office (relocation package potential).
