Our client is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Employment Litigation Attorney with at least 8 years of experience to join their dynamic and nationally recognized legal team. This full-time, fully remote position is ideal for a seasoned litigator who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about advocating for clients in complex employment law matters.
The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of employment law, a proven track record of managing litigation independently, and exceptional advocacy skills. This is a unique opportunity to work with a collaborative and forward-thinking team while enjoying the flexibility of remote work.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle all aspects of employment litigation, including matters involving wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour disputes, and other workplace-related claims.
- Independently manage a high-volume caseload from inception through resolution, including pleadings, discovery, depositions, motion practice, and trial preparation.
- Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings with strategic and effective advocacy.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop litigation strategies and provide timely updates on case developments.
- Draft persuasive legal documents, including motions, briefs, and memoranda.
- Conduct thorough legal research and stay current on evolving employment law trends and case law.
- Maintain accurate case records using legal case management software.
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Active license to practice law in good standing in one of the following states: California, Colorado, Georgia, Minnesota, Missouri, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oregon, or Texas.
- Minimum of 8 years of hands-on employment litigation experience.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex litigation independently and efficiently.
- Strong legal writing and oral advocacy skills.
- Experience with depositions, court appearances, and motion practice.
- Proficiency in legal research platforms and litigation management tools.
