About the Role:
A top-tier global financial institution is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented professional to join its Prime Services team as a Documentation Negotiator. This role is ideal for candidates with a strong background in legal documentation, financial services, and client negotiation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Negotiate and finalize prime brokerage documentation including Master Agreements, Account Opening Forms, and related ancillary documents.
- Liaise with internal stakeholders including Legal, Compliance, Credit, and Sales to ensure documentation aligns with firm policies and risk appetite.
- Manage documentation workflows and maintain accurate records of negotiation status and executed agreements.
- Provide guidance on documentation-related issues and contribute to process improvements and standardization efforts.
- Support onboarding of new clients and amendments for existing relationships.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree required; JD or legal training preferred.
- 3+ years of experience in financial services, preferably within prime brokerage or legal documentation.
- Strong understanding of prime brokerage products and associated legal frameworks.
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
