Litigation Attorney
A leading AmLaw regional law firm is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its North Carolina office. This is a strong opportunity for a driven attorney to build a career in healthcare litigation, working alongside experienced attorneys in a collaborative, mentorship-focused environment.
The associate will support a dynamic litigation practice representing healthcare providers, systems, and related organizations. You will gain hands-on experience early, with meaningful involvement in case strategy, client interaction, and courtroom exposure.
Litigation Attorney esponsibilities
- Assist in all phases of litigation, including pleadings, motions, and discovery
- Conduct legal research and draft memoranda
- Support depositions, hearings, and trial preparation
- Work closely with partners on healthcare-related disputes and regulatory issues
- Communicate directly with clients and contribute to case management
Litigation Attorney Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 1-5 years of litigation experience (healthcare experience is a plus)
- Licensed in North Carolina or eligible for admission
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills
