About the Opportunity
A nationally recognized AmLaw 200 firm is seeking a Mid-Level Litigation Associate to join its growing litigation team. This position can be based remotely anywhere in the U.S., provided candidates are licensed and in good standing with the California Bar.
Responsibilities
- Handle litigation matters through all phases of the case lifecycle
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal filings
- Conduct legal research and develop case strategies
- Take and defend depositions
- Manage discovery and work with e-discovery platforms
- Assist with trial preparation and court appearances
- Communicate effectively with clients and colleagues
Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school
- Active California Bar license in good standing
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Experience with motion practice, depositions, and trial preparation
- Familiarity with e-discovery software
- Strong advocacy, research, writing, and negotiation skills
- Excellent organizational and communication abilities
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary range: $185,000+
