Commercial Contracts Counsel
A growing global technology company is seeking a legal professional to support its commercial contracting function across U.S. customer and vendor agreements.
Key Responsibilities
- Negotiate, draft, review, and administer commercial contracts, including customer agreements, NDAs, and vendor contracts.
- Ensure agreements comply with company policies, risk guidelines, and legal standards.
- Provide contract interpretation and legal guidance to internal business teams.
- Track contract lifecycle activities, approvals, amendments, and compliance requirements.
- Help improve contracting processes, procedures, and operational efficiency.
- Manage multiple contract requests in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
Qualifications
- J.D. and active bar membership in any U.S. jurisdiction.
- 3-6 years of commercial contract negotiation and contract management experience.
- Experience supporting technology, SaaS, software, or other global technology organizations preferred.
- Strong knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and risk management principles.
- Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with contract management systems, Salesforce, Microsoft Office, and related legal technology tools is a plus.
