A leading national law firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate with 5-7 years of experience to join its growing California practice. This is an excellent opportunity to work on high-stakes employment litigation, including wage & hour class actions and PAGA matters, alongside experienced partners from top-tier L&E boutiques in a collaborative, forward-looking environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Represent employers in employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination claims.
* Handle complex wage & hour class actions and PAGA litigation from inception through resolution.
* Manage discovery, draft pleadings and motions, and conduct legal research.
* Perform fact investigations and exposure analysis to develop case strategy.
* Advise clients on employment law compliance, workplace policies, and risk management.
* Participate in alternative dispute resolution and support workplace investigations.
Key Qualifications
* J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
* Admission to the California Bar.
* 5-7 years of experience in employment defense litigation.
* Strong experience with wage & hour, PAGA, and class action matters.
* Excellent legal research, writing, and advocacy skills.
* Ability to manage complex matters and work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
