IP Litigation Partner
Our client, a nationally recognized law firm with a robust intellectual property practice, is seeking an experienced Intellectual Property Litigation Partner to join its growing team. This is a unique opportunity for a partner-level attorney with a proven track record in IP litigation to step into a leadership role within a highly collaborative and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage complex IP litigation matters, including patent, trademark, trade secret, and copyright disputes, in federal courts and before the USPTO and ITC.
Collaborate with clients to develop litigation strategies aligned with business objectives.
Oversee and mentor associate attorneys, and contribute to the continued growth of the IP litigation practice group.
Build and maintain strong client relationships, while participating in business development initiatives and firm leadership activities.
Work closely with interdisciplinary teams, including patent prosecutors and transactional IP attorneys, to provide holistic counsel to clients.
Qualifications:
J.D. from an accredited law school and an active California Bar license
At least 10 years of experience focused on intellectual property litigation, including first-chair experience in patent litigation.
A portable book of business is strongly preferred.
Background in electrical engineering, computer science, life sciences, or a related technical field is a plus.
Exceptional legal writing, oral advocacy, and analytical skills.
