Consumer Finance Regulatory/Compliance Attorney
We are seeking a Consumer Finance Regulatory/Compliance Attorney with 4-6 years of experience to join our dynamic and nationally recognized Consumer Financial Services Practice. This is a fully virtual position, offering flexibility while working with a collaborative, nationwide team.
🧩 What You'll Do:
- Advise financial institutions and consumer lenders on compliance with federal and state consumer finance laws.
- Develop and review compliance policies, procedures, and consumer disclosures.
- Provide guidance on key regulations including:
- Truth-in-Lending Act (TILA)
- TILA-RESPA Integrated Disclosure Rule (TRID)
- Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA)
- Fair Debt Collection Practices Act (FDCPA)
- Equal Credit Opportunity Act (ECOA)
- State consumer protection laws
✅ What We're Looking For:
- 4-6 years of relevant legal experience (law firm experience preferred)
- Strong knowledge of consumer finance regulations
- Excellent academic credentials
- Active bar license in the relevant jurisdiction (or willingness to obtain one promptly)
- Exceptional judgment and ability to manage multiple projects
- Strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to community engagement
