Restructuring & Insolvency Associate (3-5 PQE)
An elite international law firm is seeking a Restructuring & Bankruptcy Associate (3-5 PQE) to join its high-performing London team.
This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, cross-border restructuring and special situations matters, advising a sophisticated global client base including financial institutions, funds and corporates.
The Role
- Advise on a broad range of restructuring, insolvency and special situations matters
- Work across cross-border restructurings and formal insolvency proceedings
- Support on matters involving bank loans, high yield debt and intercreditor arrangements
- Take a hands-on role in drafting, negotiation and stakeholder management
- Collaborate closely with international teams on multi-jurisdictional mandates
- Take on meaningful responsibility and direct exposure to clients and counterparties
The Candidate
- England & Wales qualified with 3-5 years' PQE
- Strong experience across restructuring, insolvency and special situations
- Solid understanding of financing structures (bank debt, high yield, intercreditors)
- Exposure to cross-border matters and restructuring proceedings
- Confident drafting and negotiation skills with the ability to manage responsibility
- Commercial, driven and adaptable, with strong interpersonal skills
- A collaborative approach and genuine enthusiasm for high-quality, complex work
