Associate Attorney (In‑House)

A growing financial services firm is seeking an Associate Attorney to support key legal functions across compliance, contracts, and dispute management. This role provides broad exposure and works closely with senior legal leadership.
Key Responsibilities
- Support compliance programs, including updating policies, procedures, and regulatory documentation.
- Draft, review, and negotiate routine commercial agreements.
- Assist with transactional projects, due diligence, and maintaining contract templates.
- Help manage litigation and pre‑litigation matters, including correspondence, document collection, and coordination with outside counsel.
- Provide clear, practical legal guidance to internal teams.
Qualifications
- JD and active California bar membership.
- 2-8 years of law firm or in‑house experience.
- Strong drafting skills and attention to detail.
- Preferred: experience within regulated or professional services industries.
