The Opportunity
A highly respected international law firm is seeking a talented Corporate Tax Associate to join its expanding London office. This is an exciting opportunity to work with an elite client base on complex, high‑value, cross‑border tax matters across corporate, finance, real estate and private capital sectors.
You will join a collaborative, high-performing team known for technical excellence, commercial thinking, and involvement in some of the most sophisticated transactions in the market.
Key Responsibilities
You will advise on a wide range of UK and international tax matters, including:
- Corporate M&A, joint ventures and reorganisations
- Private equity, funds and investment structuring
- Real estate investment, development and fund structures
- Cross‑border tax planning and international structuring
- Tax aspects of financing arrangements including leveraged finance and capital markets
- Employment tax matters, including incentives and remuneration
- Supporting clients on tax authority enquiries and risk management
This role offers hands‑on exposure, direct client contact, and strong development within a high‑performing tax practice.
Candidate Profile
The firm is seeking someone who brings:
- 2-5 PQE in corporate tax from a recognised City, international, or top-tier UK firm
- Strong grounding in UK corporate tax law and transactional tax
- Ability to manage workstreams with appropriate supervision and support juniors when needed
- Excellent drafting and communication skills
- A proactive, collaborative mindset with strong commercial awareness
