About the Role
An international industrial group is seeking a Senior Legal Counsel M&A (m/f/d) to join its legal team, offering strong exposure to complex, high-value transactions and close collaboration within a supportive, business-oriented environment. This position provides end-to-end ownership of deals and the opportunity to play a key role in strategic growth initiatives across multiple jurisdictions.

Key Responsibilities
Lead the full lifecycle of M&A and joint venture transactions, from initial feasibility assessments and structuring through to signing, closing, and post-closing integration. Coordinate and manage external counsel across various jurisdictions, ensuring alignment, quality, and efficiency throughout each project. Review and assess due diligence findings, draft and negotiate SPAs and joint venture agreements, and provide guidance on carve-out and separation matters. Oversee regulatory aspects including merger control and foreign direct investment (FDI) filings, working closely with relevant authorities where required. Prepare and deliver internal approvals, compliance documentation, and transaction materials for senior stakeholders and decision-making bodies.

Your Profile
Fully qualified German lawyer with a minimum of 4 years of professional experience in Corporate/M&A, gained in private practice or an in-house environment. Strong team-oriented mindset combined with a pragmatic, hands-on approach and the ability to manage multiple workstreams effectively. Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and business judgment. Fluent in German with very strong English communication skills required.

Work Model & Location
Hybrid working model with 2-3 days per week in the Hannover office, offering flexibility alongside in-person collaboration.
