A leading international law firm is looking to hire a high-calibre Restructuring & Insolvency Senior Associate (5-7 PQE) to join its growing London team.

This is a standout opportunity to work at the forefront of complex, cross-border restructurings and insolvency matters, advising a broad client base and taking a lead role on high-profile transactions.

The Role

  • Advise lenders, investors, directors, corporates and officeholders across a full spectrum of restructuring and insolvency matters
  • Play a key role in distressed M&A transactions (buy-side and sell-side) across multiple sectors
  • Support boards through financial stress and turnaround scenarios, including directors' duties and contingency planning
  • Handle both contentious and non-contentious insolvency work
  • Draft and negotiate key documentation including security reviews, enforcement strategies, administrations and court applications
  • Contribute to business development and client relationship initiatives

Requirements

  • 5-7 years' PQE in restructuring & insolvency from a recognised firm
  • Experience across both contentious and non-contentious matters
  • Strong technical grounding with commercial awareness
  • Ability to operate in fast-paced, multi-stakeholder environments
  • Confidence leading matters and working across cross-border mandates
  • A proactive approach to BD and market engagement
