Private Equity Attorney
A nationally recognized client is seeking an experienced Private Equity Attorney with 4-8 years of experience to join its dynamic and growing team. This role involves working with middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyouts, as well as advising family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs on sell-side M&A transactions.
Locations: Cleveland, Columbus, Chicago, New York City, Philadelphia
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise middle-market private equity funds, independent sponsors, and family offices on leveraged buyout transactions.
- Represent family-owned businesses and entrepreneurs in sell-side M&A transactions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate complex transaction documents and related agreements.
- Contribute to a collegial and mentorship-focused team environment.
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in a law firm or in-house legal department.
- Active license to practice law in the listed states.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Must have permanent authorization to work in the U.S.
