Medical Malpractice Associate & General Liability & Trial Attorney Associate and Senior Attorney

The firm is seeking a driven Associate Attorney to join its healthcare and medical malpractice defense group i This role provides a blend of autonomy and support, offering hands‑on experience with a broad range of cases while collaborating closely with seasoned partners and colleagues.

What You'll Do

  • Handle a diverse docket of medical malpractice matters from early investigation through resolution.
  • Participate in litigation activities including court appearances, depositions, motion practice, and settlement discussions.
  • Coordinate strategic case planning with partners and team members to drive efficient, effective results.
  • Communicate regularly with clients, keeping them informed and engaged throughout the litigation process.
  • Draft and analyze pleadings, motions, discovery materials, and other complex legal documents.
  • Assist with trial preparation and contribute to high‑level case strategy and evaluation.

What You Bring

  • JD from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the New York bar.
  • At least 2+ years of defense litigation experience; medical malpractice or healthcare‑related experience is a strong plus.
  • Excellent communication, writing, and advocacy skills.
