A respected California-based law firm is seeking a motivated Labor & Employment Litigation Associate to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on diverse employment matters-including single-plaintiff cases, counseling, and compliance-with a collaborative team that values mentorship, inclusion, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent employers in employment litigation, primarily single-plaintiff cases.
- Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery responses with precision and clarity.
- Collaborate with partners and clients on case strategy and compliance issues.
- Gain exposure to PAGA and class action matters (experience preferred but not required).
- Participate in firm initiatives, including DEI programs and pro bono opportunities.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- Employment litigation experience, including discovery and motion practice.
- Excellent legal writing and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and collaboratively.
Benefits & Compensation
- Competitive salary: $140,000-$220,000 annually, plus performance-based bonuses.
