Litigation Attorney
A nationally recognized defense litigation law firm is seeking a motivated Litigation Attorney to join their Detroit team. The team is open to Junior, Mid-Level and Counsel level attorneys. This role is ideal for someone who wants greater ownership of cases and the opportunity to develop real litigation skills.
Practice Areas Exposure Includes:
- Transportation
- Medical malpractice
- Employment litigation
- Product liability
- Professional liability
- Legal malpractice
Responsibilities:
- Handle a personal caseload with increasing autonomy
- Draft motions, pleadings, and discovery
- Participate in depositions, hearings, mediations, and trials (based on experience)
- Collaborate with partners who offer clear communication and strong mentorship
Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Michigan Bar license required
- Minimum 2+ years of litigation experience
- Strong writing and communication skills
- Desire for hands-on case experience and skill growth
