A top‑tier national law firm with a highly regarded litigation and investigations practice is seeking a mid‑level Litigation Associate (~3-6 years) to join its Southern California team. This is a unique opportunity to work on high‑profile, complex disputes across multiple industries, including commercial litigation, white collar defense, investigations, and regulatory matters.
The ideal candidate will have strong litigation fundamentals and an interest in working across a diverse, multidisciplinary practice with significant client exposure and sophisticated work.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle complex litigation matters from pre‑litigation through trial
- Draft pleadings, motions, and briefs
- Manage discovery, including written discovery and document review strategy
- Take and defend depositions and conduct witness interviews
- Participate in motion practice and trial preparation
- Work collaboratively across teams on matters spanning multiple industries
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active Bar membership in California
- 3-6 years of litigation experience
- Experience with motion practice, depositions, and case management
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast‑paced environment
- Judicial clerkship experience is a plus
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Approximately $260,000 to $390,000, depending on experience and alignment
