A nationally recognized labor and employment law firm is seeking a mid-to-senior level Employment Litigation Associate with 3+ years of experience to join its Los Angeles office. This is an excellent opportunity to work on complex, high-profile employment matters in a collaborative environment that values innovation, mentorship, and professional growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle employment litigation from inception through resolution, including wage-hour class actions and PAGA claims.
- Draft and respond to discovery and initial pleadings.
- Prepare, draft, and argue motions in state and federal court.
- Take and defend depositions.
- Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective litigation strategies.
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school with strong academic credentials.
- Admission to the California Bar.
- Minimum 3 years of employment litigation experience, including wage-hour class actions and PAGA cases.
- Excellent legal writing, analytical, and oral advocacy skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment and work both independently and as part of a team.
