A leading Am Law 200 firm is seeking a Labor & Employment Associate Attorney with 3+ years of employment litigation experience to join its growing team in Cleveland, Ohio. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a nationally recognized practice group in a firm known for its litigation excellence and client-first culture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day case tasks and contribute to strategic litigation planning.
- Support cases from inception through discovery and trial preparation.
- Attend depositions, settlement conferences, and hearings.
- Draft motions, discovery responses, and client communications.
- Assist in trial preparation, including strategy development, document review, and witness preparation.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in labor and employment law, including litigation.
- Strong background in drafting pleadings, motions, and legal memoranda.
- Experience with government agency and court appearances, witness interviews, and employment-related agreements.
- Deposition experience preferred.
- Active Ohio law license required.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
