Intellectual Property Litigation Associate
A nationally recognized law firm is seeking a highly motivated Intellectual Property Associate Attorney to join its expanding team across multiple U.S. offices. The ideal candidate will bring a strong foundation in IP litigation and a forward-looking interest in emerging areas such as data privacy, AI governance, and technology law. This role offers the opportunity to work on complex litigation and transactional matters involving copyrights, trademarks, trade secrets, and digital innovation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a diverse caseload involving IP litigation and counseling on technology, data privacy, and AI compliance.
- Represent clients in federal and state courts, including drafting and arguing motions, and managing depositions.
- Advise clients on privacy frameworks, AI governance, and data management strategies, including drafting internal policies and risk assessments.
- Draft and negotiate IP-related agreements, including licensing, software development, and collaboration contracts.
- Provide strategic guidance on advertising, internet, and media law issues.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.
- Admission to practice in at least one U.S. jurisdiction; multi-state or federal court admissions are a plus.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in intellectual property litigation.
- Demonstrated experience in motion practice, depositions, and client counseling.
- Experience or strong interest in privacy, AI, and data governance.
- Familiarity with advertising law, fashion law, or internet law is advantageous.
