Key Responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day operations of the Compliance Program.
- Develop, maintain, and update compliance policies, procedures, and Code of Conduct.
- Coordinate internal investigations of compliance, privacy, or conduct concerns.
- Partner with HR and departmental leaders on regulatory matters.
- Oversee escalation and documentation of patient and product‑related complaints.
- Lead compliance committee activities and monitor organization‑wide compliance trends.
- Identify risk areas and implement corrective action plans.
- Prepare regular compliance reports for leadership.
- Support accreditation activities and maintain required state licensure.
- Respond to regulatory inquiries and monitor updates affecting compliance and privacy.
- Manage required compliance training for staff.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree required
- 2+ years of progressive compliance experience
- Experience drafting corporate policies and procedures
- Knowledge of HIPAA, OSHA, and state labor regulations
- Strong writing, communication, and project‑management skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology and healthcare regulatory bodies
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
Preferred
- Clinical licensure (e.g., RN)
- Healthcare Compliance certification (CHC or equivalent)
- Prior healthcare experience
