Corporate Paralegal
Key Responsibilities
- Provide day‑to‑day legal support to in‑house counsel across corporate, commercial, regulatory, and operational matters.
- Assist with the preparation, organization, and review of legal documents, including correspondence, contracts, memoranda, agreements, filings, and reports.
- Conduct fact‑finding investigations, gather supporting information and documentation, and help maintain accurate and thorough case records.
- Support litigation and claims management efforts, including document collection, discovery support, and coordination with external counsel.
- Perform legal and factual research related to corporate governance, commercial matters, regulatory compliance, labor and employment issues, and other topics as needed.
- Maintain and enhance internal legal department processes, workflows, templates, and databases.
- Coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and filings with company representatives and external legal partners.
- Manage, update, and track documents and data using the company's internal systems and relevant databases.
- Assist in the implementation and use of legal technology tools and platforms.
Qualifications
- 5+ of experience as a legal assistant or paralegal in a law firm, corporate legal department, or comparable environment.
- Paralegal certificate or associate degree in a relevant field.
- Demonstrated experience supporting litigation and claims management is preferred.
- Experience with commercial contracts, or labor and employment matters is a plus.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Familiarity with database systems and the ability to use various software applications at an intermediate level.
- Willingness and ability to learn and utilize the company's legal and business applications.
- Comfortable adopting new legal technologies and contributing to digital process improvements.
- Must be able to work in office 3 days a week.
