Corporate Counsel
A leading global industrial manufacturing organization is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to serve as a key legal business partner across its North American operations. This is an excellent opportunity for a commercially minded attorney who enjoys working as a legal generalist, partnering closely with business leaders, and providing practical, risk-based legal guidance in a fast-paced environment.
What You'll Do
- Provide strategic, solutions-oriented legal advice to multiple business units across North America.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of complex commercial agreements, including customer, supplier, distribution, and licensing contracts.
- Identify and mitigate legal and business risks while supporting company growth objectives.
- Manage litigation matters and coordinate with outside counsel as needed.
- Support corporate transactions, organizational changes, and select M&A initiatives.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to promote legal awareness and compliance best practices.
- Contribute to the development and improvement of legal processes, policies, and tools.
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and active admission to at least one U.S. State Bar.
- 4+ years of legal experience, ideally combining law firm and/or in-house experience.
- Strong background drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements.
- Ability to balance legal risk with business objectives and provide practical recommendations.
- Strong communication, project management, and stakeholder management skills.
