About the Opportunity
A growing national law firm is seeking a Construction Litigation Associate to join its established construction practice. This position offers the flexibility to work remotely from anywhere in the United States while handling a diverse range of litigation matters involving construction-related disputes and complex commercial issues.
The ideal candidate will have prior litigation experience and a strong foundation in motion practice, depositions, legal writing, and client advocacy. Construction litigation experience is preferred but not required.
Responsibilities
- Manage matters through various stages of litigation
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and related filings
- Conduct and defend depositions
- Participate in hearings, mediations, and other dispute resolution proceedings
- Develop case strategy in collaboration with senior attorneys
- Conduct legal research and prepare written analyses
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other stakeholders throughout the litigation process
- Support trial preparation and case management efforts
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Florida Bar license in good standing
- 2+ years of litigation experience in a law firm environment
- Construction litigation and/or commercial litigation experience preferred
- Experience with motion practice and depositions
- Strong legal research, writing, advocacy, and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage case responsibilities independently while working collaboratively within a team environment
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Compensation: $160,000 - $200,000 base salary, plus discretionary bonus opportunity and comprehensive benefits package.
