Compliance Analyst
A company in the energy space is seeking a Compliance Analyst to support its regulatory and compliance activities. This role involves working with internal teams to help maintain established processes and support ongoing compliance efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the administration and oversight of reliability compliance programs across transmission and generation operations
- Coordinate and complete regulatory filings, certifications, and periodic data submissions
- Maintain compliance documentation, trackers, and internal control matrices
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess potential business impacts
- Assist with audits, regulatory reviews, and compliance investigations
- Identify, document, and support remediation of compliance risks and gaps
- Contribute to the development and testing of internal controls
- Maintain and update compliance policies, procedures, and training materials
- Develop reporting and metrics to track compliance program performance
- Support new asset integration and compliance implementation activities
Qualifications
- 1-3 years of experience in NERC reliability compliance or a related field
- Knowledge of Operations & Planning (O&P) and/or Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) standards
- Familiarity with transmission and/or generation compliance environments
- Exposure to ISO/RTO markets (e.g., PJM, MISO, NYISO, CAISO, ERCOT) is a plus
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with compliance tools is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred
