Job Opportunity: Commercial Counsel Manufacturing
Location: Miami, Florida
Compensation: $200,000 - $220,000 base salary

Position Summary:
An international industrial group is seeking a skilled and proactive Commercial Counsel with experience in manufacturing to support its U.S. operations. This role, based in Miami, will serve as a key liaison between the American business units and the central legal and compliance teams, based out of the international headquarters. The position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the development and structuring of legal and compliance functions within a growing global organization.

Key Responsibilities:

Commercial Contracts

  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts with clients and suppliers across multiple divisions. Collaborate with divisional legal managers, procurement legal teams, and compliance officers internationally.

Litigation & Dispute Resolution

  • Provide support on U.S. litigation matters up to a defined level. Escalate high-stakes cases to the central legal team while continuing to offer local assistance.

Compliance Implementation

  • Assist in deploying group-wide compliance policies in the U.S., including antitrust, anti-corruption, export control, GDPR, KYC/KYS, and gift policies. Ensure alignment with U.S. legal standards and regulatory requirements.


Qualifications

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant legal experience, ideally within a multinational or industrial environment.
  • Strong understanding of U.S. commercial law, litigation, and compliance frameworks.
  • Excellent cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
