Position Overview

An established employment law firm is seeking an experienced attorney to join its team as Class Action Counsel -This is a full-time, remote position with a reduced billable hour requirement and no business development or travel obligations, offering flexibility while working on complex litigation matters.


Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with trial teams to investigate facts and assess exposure in class, collective, and representative actions (including PAGA matters).
  • Draft legal documents such as answers, disclosures, and removal filings.
  • Conduct case evaluations, including analysis of wage and hour policies, claims, defenses, and damages modeling.
  • Collaborate with data analytics teams for exposure assessments.
  • Support litigation phases such as class certification and settlement.
  • Serve as liaison between trial teams and specialized counsel team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 6 years of legal experience in wage and hour litigation and class/collective actions.
  • Strong litigation background with experience managing cases through their full lifecycle.
  • Familiarity with Fair Labor Standards Act, state wage and hour laws, and PAGA actions (California experience preferred).
  • Proficiency with Excel for damages modeling.
  • Active bar license in state of residence (California preferred).

Compensation & Benefits

  • Salary range: $125,000-$175,000 annually, based on experience and education.
