Senior Counsel - E-Commerce
A leading E-Commerce Platform is expanding their legal department and hiring a Sr. Corporate Counsel. This company supports small businesses and individual consumers in custom made-to-order products. Priding themselves on not only high quality products, but customer service as well, this company is striving to lead the personalized products market.
The company is experience fantastic growth at this time, and looking to expand. This legal team is dynamic, collaborative, fun-loving yet still hard-working and high-performing.
The role is hybrid, 3 days a week on-site in Calabasas, CA
Responsibilities:
- Oversee all privacy matters
- Strategically advise cross functionally
- Draft, review & negotiate all E-Commerce related agreements
- Work closely with consumer protection laws
- Ensure compliance
- Perform AI governance
- Handle IP/brand protection matters
Requirements:
- JD from ABA accredited law school
- Active bar licensure in at least one US state
- 5+ years of legal experience
- Experience advising on privacy matters
- Experience with E-Commerce agreements is a major plus
- CCPA + GDPR expertise
- Must be driven and hard working, while still having a sense of humor
- Business-minded
- 3 days a week in Calabasas, CA
