Senior Attorney - Labor & Employment

Our client, a leading national labor and employment law firm, is seeking attorneys with 7+ years of employment law experience to join its Virtual Office as Special Counsel. This primarily remote role focuses on administrative charges, attorney demand letters, and employment litigation for a broad mix of clients, including those with EPLI matters. You will handle your own cases while also supervising others and collaborating closely with partners and a team of skilled attorneys. Some local travel may be required.

Responsibilities

  • Manage administrative charges, demand letters, and single‑plaintiff litigation.
  • Develop detailed case strategies, draft and review work product, and conduct depositions.
  • Represent clients at hearings, conferences, and trials with professionalism and precision.
  • Supervise junior attorneys and legal support staff within the Virtual Office.
  • Collaborate with partners and cross‑office legal teams.
  • Contribute to class actions, PAGA cases, and other employment law matters as needed.
  • Deliver efficient, high‑quality legal work without business development requirements.

Qualifications

  • JD from an ABA‑accredited law school.
  • 7+ years of employment law and litigation experience.
  • Active bar membership in good standing.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a remote environment.
  • Preferred: law firm experience, EPLI‑related work, and California bar admission.
