Remote Labor and Employment Counsel
An established national legal practice is seeking a Labor & Employment Counsel to join its growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney who enjoys serving as a trusted advisor to employers, managing administrative employment matters, and delivering practical, business-oriented guidance to clients across a range of industries.
This position offers the opportunity to work remotely while handling sophisticated labor and employment matters in a collaborative, client-focused environment.
Remote Labor and Employment Responsibilities:
- Defend and manage employment-related administrative matters before federal, state, and local agencies
- Draft position statements, responses, and supporting submissions for EEOC, DOL, and similar agency investigations
- Conduct legal research and prepare memoranda, client alerts, and other written work product
- Review and revise employee handbooks, policies, agreements, and workplace procedures
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships through proactive communication and practical legal advice
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal professionals on complex employment matters and strategic initiatives
Remote Labor and Employment Qualifications:
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active bar admission in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
- 6+ years of labor and employment experience
- Significant experience handling EEOC charges and other administrative agency matters
- Strong legal writing, research, and analytical skills
- Ability to manage client relationships independently
- Experience advising employers on day-to-day employment issues preferred
