Rechtsanwalt (m/w/d) Patent Litigation
We are currently working with a highly regarded international law firm seeking to expand its Intellectual Property practice in Munich.
This opportunity sits within a specialist IP disputes team that advises leading international clients on complex patent litigation, contentious IP matters, licensing disputes and other strategically important intellectual property issues. The team is involved in high-value, cross-border disputes and offers exposure to some of the most sophisticated patent litigation work in the European market.
Key Responsibilities
* Advising clients on patent litigation and broader IP disputes
* Drafting pleadings, submissions, legal opinions and memoranda
* Supporting the development and execution of litigation strategy
* Conducting legal and technical research on complex matters
* Attending court hearings, client meetings and strategy discussions
* Working closely with experienced partners and senior associates on high-profile cases
* Building long-term client relationships and contributing to business development initiatives
Candidate Profile
* Fully qualified German lawyer (1. and 2. Staatsexamen)
* Ideally 8+ points in both state examinations
* Experience in patent litigation or a strong IP disputes background
* Newly qualified through to approximately 5 years' post-qualification experience
* Excellent German and English language skills
* Strong analytical skills and interest in technically complex matters
* Genuine long-term commitment to developing a career in patent litigation
