Commercial Litigation Associate - Los Angeles (Hybrid)
A well‑established national law firm is seeking a mid‑level Commercial Litigation Associate to join its growing Los Angeles office. This is a strong opportunity to work within a business‑focused litigation practice handling complex disputes across industries in both state and federal forums.
The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in general commercial litigation and be comfortable managing matters with increasing independence while working within a collaborative team.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle a variety of commercial litigation matters from inception through resolution
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal memoranda
- Manage discovery, including written discovery and e‑discovery strategy
- Take and defend depositions, including fact and expert witnesses
- Work closely with clients and partners on litigation strategy
Key Qualifications
- J.D. from an ABA‑accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active Bar membership
- Minimun of 3-4 years of commercial litigation experience
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters and work both independently and in a team environment
Compensation & Benefits
- Salary Range: Approximately $250,000 to $275,000, depending on experience
