A nationally recognized litigation platform is seeking a Litigation Associate to join its growing Las Vegas team. This opportunity offers exposure to high-stakes liability matters, sophisticated litigation work, and direct interaction with clients and decision-makers. Attorneys looking to take on meaningful responsibility, develop their courtroom experience, and work on complex disputes from day one will find a strong long-term fit here.
Responsibilities
- Manage a diverse caseload of insurance defense and civil litigation matters
- Draft pleadings, motions, discovery requests, responses, and other litigation-related documents
- Take and defend depositions
- Attend hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trials
- Conduct legal research and assist in developing case strategy
- Collaborate with senior attorneys and stakeholders throughout all stages of litigation
- Maintain regular communication with clients, experts, and opposing counsel
Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school
- Active Nevada Bar admission
- 2+ years of litigation experience preferred
- Experience handling insurance defense, general liability, transportation, premises liability, construction defect, product liability, or commercial litigation matters
- Strong writing, analytical, and advocacy skills
- Ability to manage multiple matters in a fast-paced environment
